At Silentum, operated by SyannuAI Technologies Private Limited, you have full control over your data. This page explains how to permanently delete your account and what happens to your information when you do.
Before You Delete
Please note the following before proceeding:
- Account deletion is permanent. Once deleted, your account cannot be recovered.
- Your account data will be erased. Email address, phone number, and username are permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
- Communications content is stored locally. Messages and call data remain on your device only. We do not hold copies on our servers.
- Messages you sent may remain on recipients' devices. End-to-end encrypted messages already delivered to other users cannot be recalled by Silentum.
- Subscription cancellation: If you have an active subscription in the future, cancel it through Google Play before deleting your account to avoid future charges.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: Delete from the Silentum App (Recommended)
- Open the Silentum app on your device.
- Go to Settings → Delete Account.
- Confirm your decision when prompted.
Your account and associated server-side data will be scheduled for deletion. Account data is permanently erased within 30 days, subject to any lawful retention obligation.
Option 2: Request Deletion by Email
If you no longer have access to the app, you may submit a deletion request by emailing privacy@silentum.app with the subject line "Account Deletion Request."
Please include:
- Your Silentum username or registered email address
- A brief statement confirming you want your account permanently deleted
We will verify your identity and process your request within 30 days, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
What Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove:
- Your account profile (email address, phone number, username) from our servers
- Undelivered encrypted messages stored on our servers
- Server-side metadata associated with your account
- Your preferences and account settings
What May Be Retained
We may retain certain information only where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as:
- Records needed to comply with legal obligations or legal hold requirements
- Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you
- Information related to unresolved disputes or fraud prevention
Data Export
Before deleting your account, you may request a copy of your data by contacting privacy@silentum.app. We will provide your data in a structured, machine-readable format where technically feasible, as described in our Privacy Policy.
